My sister and I both love this painting. What fascinates me is that it was never really about the flowers. As the layers developed, I found myself drawn to the shape at the center. What began as a vessel slowly took on a feminine presence and became the heart of the painting. The flowers bloom, fade, and change. The vessel remains. Over time the painting became a reflection on nurturing, resilience, and the people who make space for growth in the lives of others. The ones who quietly hold the garden together.
